SAGES 2011 - 2012 Award Nominations
SAGES has four major awards which are open for nomination from the general membership and three additional awards open to nominations from SAGES Leadership (Officers, Board, and Committee Members).
Nomination forms will be reviewed by the Awards Committee prior to the ACS Clinical Congress in October. The Committee will recommend recipients to the Board of Governors in November. Awards will then be bestowed upon the recipients during the during the 2012 SAGES Annual Meeting next year in San Diego, CA.
We encourage you to submit your nomination online by following the instructions below. For any questions, please e-mail Ms. Viera Ewell in the SAGES office (Phone: 310-437-0544, Fax: 310-437-0585). We hope that you participate in this process so that we may honor those who have contributed a great deal to endoscopic surgery and to SAGES.
Please submit all nominations no later than September 23, 2011.

SAGES Leadership (Officers, Board, and Committee Members) may nominate for the following three awards:
SAGES DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD
For researchers within the first five years after completion of residency/fellowship
(may not be currently enrolled in a training program).
RESEARCHER IN TRAINING AWARD
For researchers currently
in their residency/fellowship.
In addition to the SAGES Awards above, the awards/scholarships listed below are also available. Interested parties should submit an application.
The SAGES Foundation Excellence in Medical Leadership Award
