2010 World Congress International Webcast Sessions
In 2009, the SAGES International Webcast Sessions had 13 countries participating and over 1,200 viewers logged in! 2010 will definitely be a webcast fit for a World Congress with sessions such as the SAGES Presidential Address, Gerald Marks Keynote Lecture, Symposium: NOTES® - Alive and Well, or RIP?, Presidential Debates, Panel: Single Port Access Surgery, Panel: Live from Afghanistan Session: Video Conference Military Coalition in, Karl Storz Keynote Lecture, and CAGS / Royal College of Surgeons Lecture

The webcast player will be available about 30 minutes before the webcast. Questions can be submitted at any time by clicking the "MdirectAccess" button on the home page or the webcast player. Questions will go to a central webpage for collection.
Pretest Pre- Webcast Instructions:
The live test video will be available on Wednesday, April 6, 2010 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The moderators from each location should run the test video to confirm that they will be able to join the webcast. Here are the pretest instructions:
On Wednesday, April 6, 2010 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, go to www.or-live.com/sages/2347 and click the test webcast video button.
The live test video stream should automatically begin to play in the video window. Check to make sure you can both hear the audio and see the video. Note any audio or video issues such as choppiness, freezing, or stuttering.
Next, click the "confirm webcast" test button and complete the confirmation form. This form may be used to report a problem or request tech support.
To assist you with resolving any technical issues before the webcast dates, a technical support technician is available by emailing it@orlive.com.
If you are unable to complete the pretest on Wednesday, April 6, 2010, please login to this website and click the View Live Webcast one hour before the program start time to confirm your successful connection. A tech support technician will be available at that time to assist you.
